Notice: The Telegraph Fire in Mariposa County is now 100% contained. All BLM campgrounds along the Merced River, between Briceburg and Bagby, are now open to public access.

The Folsom Field Office is directly responsible for the management of approximately 230,000 acres of Public Land scattered throughout fourteen Central California counties. Most of the acreage is within the historic Mother Lode region of the Sierra Nevada Range (with the exception of the Cosumnes River Preserve in southern Sacramento County)
The Folsom Field Office boundary stretches from Yuba County (in the north), to Mariposa County (in the south).
